Healthy Child Competition Organized Under the "Poshan" Program in Borsad Taluka

Under the "Poshan" program managed by Ashadeep, several Healthy Baby Competitions were organized across different villages to promote awareness about child health, nutrition, and overall well-being.

📍 Dedarda Gram Panchayat – January 13, 2025

A Healthy Child Competition was held at Dedarda Gram Panchayat, with 24 children participating. The event saw the presence of Sarpanch Natubhai, Medical Officer Sanjaybhai, TB Supervisor Vijaybhai, Nurse Roziben, Malaria Worker Nishantbhai, Panchayat Member Ajitbhai, and other community leaders.

🏆 Winners were rewarded to encourage healthy practices among children.

📍 Pamol Village – January 17, 2025

A Baby Health Competition was conducted at Pamol Sub-Center, with 80 attendees and 30 children (ages 0-6) participating. Each child’s weight and height were measured, and winners were selected in different age groups.

Medical professionals, including Medical Officer Dignasha Gujjar, Deputy Sarpanch Natubhai Thakor, CHO Divyaben Parmar, and FHW Savitriben Prajapati, attended the event, and children were rewarded for their participation.

📍 Dhobikui Village – January 20, 2025

Another Healthy Baby Competition was held at the Anganwadi in Dhobikui, where 19 children participated. Events included:

✅ Running race for boys & girls

✅ Langdi race

✅ Frog jump

🥈 2nd Prize: Janki Rameshbhai Parmar

🥉 3rd Prize: Kinjal Rajubhai Thakor & Krishna Rajubhai Bharwad

The event was supported by Anganwadi staff, Poshan Program staff Snehalbhen & Pragnaben, and Ankit Jadav Co-ordinator Poshan Program, who also acted as the judge.

📍 Dabhasi Village – January 21, 2025

A Healthy Baby Competition was conducted at Paalav Seem Anganwadi, Dabhasi. A total of 31 children attended, and 21 actively participated in the competition. Various activities were held, including:

✅ Lemon & Spoon Race

✅ Drawing Competition

The event was successfully conducted with the support of Anganwadi workers, Pragna Ben, and Snehal Ben. Children were provided with snacks and biscuit packets, making the event enjoyable for all.
