Free Eye Check-up Camp Organized at Vehra Village

A Free Eye Check-up Camp was held at the Vehra Dairy in Vehra Village organized by Ashadeep Human Development Centre, Vidyanagar, in collaboration with Shri Ravishankar Maharaj Eye Hospital, Chikhodra. The camp attracted a total of 158 participants, including 82 men and 76 women.
During the camp, Dr. Alpesh Makwana conducted eye examinations for various conditions such as cataracts, conjunctivitis, glaucoma, dry eyes, and blurred vision. Additionally, a team of doctors, including Dr. Nupur Dave and Dr. Vandana Rathod, examined participants for ear-related ailments.
Following the examinations, 20 patients diagnosed with cataracts were referred to Chikhodra Hospital for further treatment and surgery. Moreover, 31 individuals received eyeglasses at subsidized rates, and 12 people were given eye drops. The camp also provided ear check-ups to 23 individuals.
The camp was a success thanks to the dedicated efforts of Ashadeep staff, who ensured smooth operation and care throughout the event, making a significant contribution to healthcare accessibility in the community.
