Free Eye Check-up Camp Organized at Dedarda Village

A Free Eye Check-up Camp was organized at the Dedarda Dairy by Ashadeep Human Development Centre, Vidyanagar, in collaboration with Shri Ravishankar Maharaj Eye Hospital, Chikhodra. The camp witnessed an overwhelming response, with a total of 106 participants, including 71 men and 35 women.
During the camp, Dr. Alpesh Makwana conducted eye examinations for various conditions such as cataracts, conjunctivitis, glaucoma, dry eyes, and blurred vision. Additionally, a team of specialists, including Dr. Nupur Dave and Dr. Vandana Rathod, provided consultations for various ear-related ailments.
Following the examinations, 15 patients diagnosed with cataracts were referred to Chikhodra Hospital for further treatment and surgery. Additionally, 26 individuals in need were provided with eyeglasses at subsidized rates.
The Ashadeep team was actively present throughout the event, ensuring smooth coordination and assistance to the beneficiaries. The initiative successfully provided essential eye care services to the community, reinforcing Ashadeep's commitment to public health and well-being.
